45 minutes of fun on zoom every Friday for children aged 4-10. We play games, have a short talk, take part in exciting challenges against the leaders and earn stars which equal prizes!

Zoom can be a challenge, but we make sure to have the children up and about, involved in the talks and using up some of their energy!
This term we are finding out about different people Jesus ate meals with.

Whilst our Sunday Services are online and Blast groups aren't meeting in person, videos for blast groups are still being produced each week with content, games and activities for young people to watch instead of the main service. To get the link to watch the videos, email the address below...

Easter Activities

1. Easter Trail

We have an epic Easter trail over the next 2 weeks starting from our church building.... This is an Easter egg hunt with a twist! See how many egg pictures you can find along the trail, while also finding out more about the Easter story! This is a great activity for the whole family to complete maybe with one other household too?!

This trail is accessible to all ages as we have two clue sheets, depending on the age of your children (pre-school or primary). The cost is £1 per child. Once you have donated using the PayPal link, click the 'I've donated' button and you'll be able to find the documents. These can be printed for you and left at the church to pick up, if required. The map also indicates the area where the next clue is, so you're not hunting for too long!

All proceeds from this event will go again to help our BLAST Kids sponsored children, Sarita & Boase. Sarita lives in El Salvador, and Boase in Rwanda. Both have had their needs amplified by the Coronavirus pandemic, and we would love to keep supporting them financially. If you feel that you would like to donate more than £1, then we would be extremely grateful.'

2. Easter craft video

If you fancy getting a bit creative over the holidays you could make a Resurrection Garden. This is a craft that shows the empty tomb after Jesus was raised from the dead! Sue & Paul have made an example Resurrection Garden with bits and pieces they found in their house. You could make it out of anything - maybe bits of rubbish, plants,or even cake! Send us pictures of your finished craft and we will show them to the church in one of our Sunday services!

3. Easter bake along

Friday 16th April (4-5pm)

Join us on zoom for a baking eggs-travagzanza! Some of our resident bakers will guide you through this simple recipe over zoom, whilst you have an opportunity to connect with other families who are joining in.

This is a great time to watch, to bake, and to hear about how Jesus has risen! Sign up below and we'll send over the Zoom link closer to the time.

4. Family Devotional Videos

Throughout Easter Week (Monday 29th March - Monday 6th April) we have an Easter devotional series designed for families to watch together. With a special guest bringing the Easter story each day, along with a crazy challenge to complete each day - this is a great way to reflect on the meaning of Easter!
